1. What is the background of the teacher(s)?

    The current teacher in the home, Tiffany Deschler, is a certified Texas teacher of 28 years. Please refer to the Meet the Owner section for more specific information.

2. Is the home care registered/licensed?

   The home is a licensed home.  All employees and residents in the home have been through background checks.   Our home has both scheduled and unscheduled visits from the state to check that we are following minimum standards for childcare.

3. What is the child to teacher ratio?

    All children in the program are between the ages of 3-5. The highest ratio for children will be 5:1.

4. Is there real time video in the home?

    There is not real time video access in the home.

5. Are you a year round facility?

    This home care is a 5, 3 or 2 day, full time care open August through end of May.   The months of June and July may have summer camps offered at various times.

6. Do you use a specialized curriculum?

     There is not a specialized curriculum as nature, curiosity, child interest and play lead the learning.  For more information, please read the philosophy of the school or the resources to research the positive affects of all three.

 

7. May I come and spend some time with my child in the program?

     Yes, you may come hang out and enjoy your child's day with them.  The state may regulate the amount of time and require a background check, but you will be kept informed.
